Can't imagine this will make Rafa popular in scouse land, got rid of Keane because he "wasn't good enough" now bringing in a player that Keane keeps on the bench ..... doubt this will happen but the fact they are talking loans shows they have no cash ... RVDV to the lane looks better all the time.

I think it will happen , at least until he refinds some sort of form and he could break into there team quickley as a change is as good as a rest . He played well enough against Everton = he just got involved in the build up play rather than concentrate on hitting the net . I think the bindippers will take anything they can get at the moment and he's a proven international . The fact that he cant get into our team is no shame because we have a hell of a lot class now

I really think we should just sell him. I think we're just worried about not getting back the £14m we spent on him, but we need suck it up and take a few million pounds hit.
We need the money to strengthen other areas of our team, namely our midfield.
