I was reading about the Robinho situation where the brasilian flair player has a bit of a tendancy to leave Man City in Jan. I was thinking that he would end up in Barcelona, but they apparently have no money. So I thought, wouldn't it be nice if Levy could cough up the 40 million for him. Then it struck me ..... he actually could!
1) Profits announced shown that we have a strong financial base on the back of a new stadium.
2) Robinho hates Manchester no doubt, all flair players who love the good life wouldn't stay there for more than a few seasons (look at C.ronaldo). Face it, London's bad enough with the weather, imagine Manchester!
3) Robinho's motivation is clearly not to join the largest teams, but rather a combination of financial and general fickleness. Look how he left Real for Man City. Got loads of cash and sat pretty injured on the bench.
4) Taxation! Most players leave UK because of the 50% tax soon to come into play, but Spain is applying the 43% from year 0 as well, which means the low 17% taxes paid in first 5 years wouldn't apply anymore!
5) No other club would buy him. Real must be out of money and wouldn't bring him back. Barcelona is out. Man Utd is run like a jail cell, Arsenal is run like a nursery and Chelsea is full of the aged. Spurs would welcome hiim with oodles of cash and a love for his dribbling!
6) I know its not in the best interest to shell out for robinho. But hey, it'd be great fun.
So he loves a party, great influence on the dressing room, next headline, crouch dancing out of a sunroof blowing balloons with the 80 condoms robinho bought, while gio pukes up on the inside.
easily turned by money. not a good idea what with us constantly selling our best players to the big 4 is it?
we do stand a chance. but it's not really worth it.
Nah, not a good investment at all, 40 million is a lot and we could buy so much more than that. Look at how he moaned and hated City as soon as he went, could so easily do that to us and we'd be out of 40 hard earned million lol.
We will have 3 good strikers in Keance, Defoe and Crouch when Pav go's in Jan, not sure it's wise to get another striker with Gio waiting in the wings either tbh.
Think i'd rather spend the money on a world class midfielder or defender and try and get a bargin (Ribery, Villa, Da Silva) very long shots I know.
he's too up himslef.
only plays well at home.
There is no way in hell I want that jumped up pr1ck Robinho anywhere near Tottenham! I'd rather set fire to my legs
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old
COYSAFOYS

Either way, I think the point is made satisfactorily. Setting fire to my legs is about the worst thing that could happen to me, altho sticking my fingers in the blender would be pretty bad too. Balls in a bee's nest? Yep, that's up there as well.
Spurs signing Robinho tho? ARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHH! Please Noooo!
King and Bongani,

Hahahahaha banter.
I really dont think Levy would cough up £40m for ANY player.
Especially not that over-rated cheese tits.
Why do we need a player like him? just a good time charlie who would not please Arry one bit
