Argentina midfielder Andres D'Alessandro claims Tottenham Hotspur are trying to sign him from Brazilian club Internacional.

D'Alessandro is a good player. I watched him recently for Inter & he impressed with his work-rate & ability. However, I do think there are better options out there *cough* Van Der Vaart *cough*

I did love this guy when he played abroad and when he was at Pompey. Wouldn't pay for those letters on my shirt though....!
On another note, like others have said, he played for Pompey while Harry was there, and therefore Harry knows him a little and he did say he would be signing players he knew about.
My only thing is, not sure he is good enough to be our main attacking midfielder, now VD Vart, he would be special....and I wouldn't mind paying for those letters!!
