What ever camp your in you cannot take away the fact that since HR has arrived at WHL the anticipation is imense. Who will HR buy? who will he sell? Surely he is the champion of wheeler dealers, not for many a year has there been this buzz at WHL. Every home game you just have to listen to the fans conversations in the pubs and cafe's around the stadium, it's all about who's coming in and going out, we all expect HR to be able to lead us to the promised land of Champions League Football, and listening to the majority given time and the resources he will achieve our dream.

At this time of writing we are a very credible 4th in the Prem and yet there is an almighty outcry of disbelief in our recent form, sure we are having a rough patch but we are still in the mix, it takes time a long time to get it right it and does not happen overnight. We need to be patient and I say to all of the Spurs supporters just remember where we were this time last year, we are still building a team certain players are lacking form and as usual we are experiencing injury problems that every top team dreads.
Remember we are above free spending Man City and Liverpool, in the last 8 of the Carling Cup and all of this achieved without our most creative player in Luka Modric and most recently Jermaine Defoe and Arron Lennon.
Once all these players are back and HR has done some wheeling and dealing in the Jan transfer window I am confident that we will be thereabouts come the end of the season.

Good points Swanny , as i think the Stoke game put us at such an all time low under Harry because they hadn't come to win , they came for a point and done a smash and grab at the death . The players and HR were mortified . Yet they didn't do anything wrong up until those weird "frozen in time" seconds that saw the ball hit our net .

After that we went to Ar5ena1 and played a game of non-attacking football and paid for for our stupidity as we dont know how to play non-attacking football , i didn't see the game so i'm only going on forum reports .

Then the Sunderland game which has thrown up cries of WTF is going on ???. We have become used to being entertained and great in possession at home but we made them look better by giving the ball away throughout the whole game . Even the win wasn't good enough because we wasn't looking like the class act that we as supporters have come to expect at the lane .

But as you so put it the buzz is about the fact that Harry has turned the team around and strenghthened it with very little money to date = which means the purse is full to bursting . Now the turnaround of fortune has made people think that "If Harry can do that in just over a year , then what is he capeable of in 5 years" ??? . Thats certainly what i'm thinking anyway .

Our rough patches usually last 6 games and last seasons 8 games was the worst in my supporting years . But the writing was on the wall in the run in of the previous season = after we won the CC our players just stopped playing for some reason - i think the reults were horrendous but the Cup success was cloaking the failings .

This dip we are in is not really a rough patch , as we weren't poor against stoke = it was a freak result that bore no comparrison to the game . The Ar5ena1 game as i say sounds like a poor game , and so was the Sunderland game but we won that one .

Now i have felt for years that the top 4 have continued to be there because they got lucky and a few decisions have kept them where they are , but if you take a backward step and look at it in a different light and say "They were where they were because even when they played badly they ground out results" = it puts us in there with them .

Now that is where the buzz is coming from

yeah i agree that arry brings you confidence in the transfer market but i hope that he doesnt alter it too much and do an absoloute turnover like previous managers have and it means we have another settling in period, get rid of jenas and keane and bring in a big name like joe cole and make the squad better

I think all he's looking to do is bring in 1 or 2 players just a little tweak that's all

I've heard Spurs have been linked with several players this summer, in all kinds of the position. I've heard whispers about a possible goalkeeper - obviously cover is needed for Cudicini now but i would like to think that Gomes would still be the number one. Sure he has had his problems in the past but he is playing really well now and you can even argue he has won Spurs several points this season. I recently wrote an article about how he has improved - Heurelho Gomes: How the tide has turned | FootballFanCast.com
I've also heard the name Gignac been mentioned, the French forward who we got to see recently against In terms of Gignac, I think he is a good player but don't really see why he would be needed - he doesn't look better than Defoe, Crouch or Keane and it's likely that he will cost a reasonable amount of money

Gignac is an excellent player (at club level anyway, he's been shocking for France). You are right tho, the French regard him up there with Benzema in terms of value, so he won't come cheap, & until he up his international performances, I can't see anyone forking out what Toulouse want for him.

Gomes WILL be number 1 here at Spurs, have no fear. I'm not even sure we will even go for a keeper, we still have Jimmy Walker on the bench & what was the point in getting him if we need to go out & replace our 2nd keeper just because he is injured? Surely that's the whole point in having a 3rd keeper & Jimmy is supposed to be decent enough. Still, Carlo's contract will be up by the time he heals fully, so it might just be that we will look to replace him permanently. However, if that is the case then I would imagine that we would at least wait until the summer.
      King and Bongani,
      King and Bongani bong!!
      (watch out here they come!)

Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!

      Rafael, Van Der Vaart
      ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old

I think we will only need two additional players come January, a back-up GK (for Gomes) and a striker to replace Pavlyuchenko. There is one strong rumour on a player who may definitely arrive in january, and that's Sandro - a back-up for THudd. I think the excitement will lie in who will be replacing Pavlyuchenko and whether we will be able to snap a player before his contract ends next summer. I agree, very exciting indeed and with only five weeks to go (basically look forward to Xmas first than the transfer window second to make the days count down quick)

We need a back-up GK A left defender who is talented(15 mil. for sure)
Striker not needed. When Modric is back we can play in a 1 striker formation.
