I would much prefer we went for Adam Johnson personally. I saw this report in the Mail today but I'm really not to convinced by it. Harry has already said that he will only sign players he knows 100% about. That's not to say that Harry won't spend the time between now & January getting to know everything he needs to about Vicente but I just think that there are more realistic targets out there.

We've been linked to virtually every left-sided player out there over the last however many years & I just reckon Vicente is the latest on the list. He has stated he wants to leave, Valencia want Pav & Spurs have no proper LW, so its people connecting the dots, imo. However, will Vicente be at the Lane in the New Year? I don't believe he will be. If I am wrong tho, & Vicente did come to Spurs, he could turn out to be a very shrewd buy from Harry. Vicente was a fabulous player not too long ago but lost his way a bit because of his injuries. However, Vicente himself has put his prolonged injury worries directly on the shoulders of Valencia's medical staff. I like to think we have a very good medical team here at Spurs & if they curtail these problems then we could end up with a very fine player who should just be reaching his prime.

No, not really. Johnson has everything Bentley does not & is much more of a consistent performer. The kid is going to be some player & he fits perfectly into 1 of our problem positions whereas Bentley didn't. Square pegs & all that

Vicente used to be one of teh best wingers in spain, but he just cant stay healthy. This team already has its fair share of injury problems.

Honestly, I dont think a left winger is necessary. Modric will be back soon and krancjar is able to play on the left. The money would be better spent on a first class defender

I think Bales been a victim of circumstances really, constant injuries havn't helped at all and he needs some game time on the left of midfield. But i can't see him getting it, and Johnson could fit in to our side very well as a replacement

i bought him on a manager mode just fine but i deleted it

and since martin petrov is getting old on mine i may sell him in the summer and get vicente again
