Looks like he could be available, I remember 'arry was keen before he left Inter Milan following the fall-out after he missed training after going on the lash to celebrate his birthday.
Only 27 got a near 1 in 2 record with Brazil .......
“Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.”
Yes please.
He will suit the Premier League with his power.
Adriano offered to Spurs on a free - MirrorFootball.co.uk
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
If he goes on the lash again , his feet wont touch . But i would like him in a spurs shirt .
Yes yes and yes
No thank-you. He was once good. He may not be able to cope with the demands of the Premier League (he currently plays in Brazil). He'll probably start sulking when he doesn't get a chance to play (Defoe & Keane are our starters) and may request a transfer by the end of the 09/10 season. If we sell Pav would like to see a young domestic striker which we could develop.
Under Harry I reckon he could definatley get the best out of him. And for a free, it won't hurt!!!
anyone know wage demand?
I think if he can keep fit and stays off the drink he would be a great player for spurs. But im not to sure if his hearts in it or not? I just get the feeling his to much of a big time charlie......
My favourite spurs player!
maybe set him up as a pay-for-play till season's end? then see about a normal wage ammount?
bit of an owen about, he has stated he wants to come to a bigger club to try and get back in the Brasil set-up, although i cant see him getting back in the national side at least youd hope he might show a bit of effort, id have liked to see Appiah come in much the same way this summer
worth punt if we offload pav but ive heard his wages are high, have you seen how hard he can hit a ball?!
Adriano will never return to play in Europe again IMO. He felt homesick in Italy especially after his father's death and apparently this is where all his problems have started. I know at some stage he even wanted to give up football. At the moment, he seems to have regained his confidence but no one knows how long this will last...one thing is clear: he feels better in Brazil and he enjoys playing football again which was not the case in Europe.
And in the unlikely situation that he would eye an European comeback, I doubt his destination would be England. Mind you, the Brazilian players rather seem to choose Spain, Portugal or Italy, mainly because of the Latin connections.
Moreover, I don't believe that he would be keen on returning to Europe only to revamp his international career. As far as I know, Dunga was never shy in calling players from the domestic championship, providing their form and attitude were right.
to dare is to do
yes but no..there are probably plenty CL clubs intrested in him when he runs out of contract so maybe only if Spurs get somewhere at the top and stay there...
I know many would rule him out and say no... but this feels like an 'Arry signing!
Probably bull****, and we dont particularly need him, but think if we sign him for free, shift Pav for £10m and Adriano becomes sh1t hot... we win![]()
I would rather see the AC milan swap deal happen.
