The Hunelaar story reers its head again this morning, mention of a move in the summer summer scuppered by personal terms.

If it turns out to be true Pav will be on his way and I fear Keano might do the same. The Celtic thing just wont go away and other than the 4 goals against Burnley there has been criticism angled at him since his return. Not sure the Celts will have enough Dough to satisfy Daniels valuation.

It looks like there are a dew teams interested in Pav, Zenit, Roma....... He's another one, like Benty who will score goals - just not with Spurs.

Looking forward to the weekends game, should be easy enough aslong as crouchy, lennon etc.. dont get injured tonight.

I would love to get Huntelaar in but with over 2 months til the transfer window I can see him eventually hitting some form with Milan and then them rumours will quickly dissapear.

Long term , i dont see Pav or Keane being in our CL plans if they dont get into our EPL plans . Harry is moving forward so i see a good future no matter who he brings in .

agree, Kev but I don't think Keane will go in the window unless we suffer a drastic dip in form. I think Pav is gone, but tbh, I can't see Milan doing this deal- on the other hand, they haven't done much that makes sense to me over the last year or so...

The rumours in Italy are gathering pace as Corriere dello Sport claim that Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliano does indeed want to bring our Russian to Italy. Milan have indeed lost patience with Huntelaar & will offload him in January, altho whether it will be to us just because Pav will go the other way and we wanted KJH in the summer seems to be speculation.

Harry today has been mentioning the problem of having 4 quality strikers (although whether Pav falls under this description is debatable) and seems to be hinting that Pav will be gone in January. Having said this, I doubt he will get rid of one striker and then bring in another and have the same problem of too many strikers expecting a start. What we need is a youngster with potential that is ok with sitting on the bench and coming in when needed.

^ I think if we was to lable Keano under that same description he would be had up on trade the descriptions act.

JD and Crouch are number ones at the minute and if KJH was to come Crouchy would be out on his ear too as his World Cup ambitions would mean he needed first team footy every week.

KJH would need to deliver sharpish to justify the hype the price tag and his inflated wages.

100000000000% agree ive been saying this for ages mate, spot on! Whats the point in going out and getting another top top striker its got to be better getting someone younger! I think its a shame we didnt sign Fraser campbell imo great little player to come off subs bench.
