Blackburn rejected Spurs approach for Robinson | Premiership News | tribalfootball.com
Can't see it personally as Robbo wants to be No1 at whatever club he is at. But being at Blackburn is not doing Robbo's World Cup chances any good. He needs to move on to a bigger club, at least pushing for a top 6 finish.
If he returned to Spurs he would be our No 2 which would make his World Cup selection
But what a pairing with Gomes![]()

I heard that we're trying to swap Cudacini for David James. It could work quite well actually, especially as Cudacini appears to have lost his mojo somewhat. I love Gomes & I would be concerned that James's arrival might push him out, but the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. James is no spring chicken but is still an excellent goalkeeper. He will be making the transition from automatic 1st choice to backup any time soon as his career moves into its latter stages. Therefore, rather than a set-in-stone number 1 & 2, Gomes & James (weirdly similar names too) would work more as a combination, in tandem as James begins to step back out the limelight whilst Gomes steps forward, hopefully picking up some of Jamo's immense experience s he brushes past. My only real concern is that the comedic mistakes that Big G has made himself known for in England are virtual replicas of the mistakes that have plagued Jamo's career. That's one thing G could really do with moving away from & I'm not sure therefore, whether Jamo is the man to help him do that.
James linked with Spurs
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old
COYSAFOYS
Robbo is as blind as a bat , he has a clause in his contract that says he cant be seen wearing glasses . Haven't you wondered why he's good inside the box but gets beat from distance . James would be my choice if any .
Yes i know , i only open my mouth to change feet
A confident and on form Robbo, would be better than James any day.
Until Robbo's air shot for England, James was always going to be No2.

Soz but he has had his best days with us and we are heading in a totally different direction to him.
We need to look forward fellas not backward.
Gomes number 1 and a fresh young upstart like casper scheichael deputising.
Id take James in a heartbeat though as he would be an excelent splinter gatherer for big G.
Schmeichel he means = Peters son
Soz I was writing quick and have no clue how to sllep!!!!!!!!!!![]()
Casper could be one for the future but he has been on a bit of slide from his Man City days.
But showed some true potential in his early days. Very much like his dad.

Christ what a stupid bit of gossip, Robbo has had his day at Spurs and in his later spell here he was awful, i wouldnt want him back at Spurs.
Shame he was a decent keeper when we signed him up but Gomes is No1.
i dont fancy either james or robbo tbo.theres no way james would come to spurs and be a number 2,so if arry signs him expect him to be number 1.id perfer gomes to both and as unit says an up and coming young keeper who we can blood in some cup games and then bring through to take gomes place in a few years the only problem is there doesnt seem to be many good youngkeepers about,,although i think gomes when he gets back in,unless he gets injuried will probily play nearily every game
isn't our up and young keeper ben alnwick. He was just on loan but he ain't to bad. But probz won't make it to Premiership level. He was playing (starting) at Norwich in League 1 and Schmichael is playing in League 2.
Sign Neuer from Schalke 04![]()
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
