Jamie has declared today that, despite having just signed a new 4 year contract with Spurs, he may be persuaded to make his switch to the South Coast permanent.
Just like everyone else, Jamie's concern is game-time here at Tottenham. He wants to stay but he says, should we make more signings in January, he may be forced into looking elsewhere. If he is enjoying things at Pompey, then he may well look to make is loan move permanent.
I like Jamie a lot & its clear Spurs are close to his heart but I'm just not sure if we can give him what he wants. He is even talking about trying to force his way into Capello's plans for South Africa & I'm just not sure that he'll get anything like enough time on the pitch at at Tottenham in order to do that.
Still, the fact that he signed the new contract just before he left puts us in a really strong position. We won't let him go unless we are comfortable with the idea. I guess Jamie is looking at Niko's arrival & is thinking that, once Luka is back to full fitness, he will be behind the 2 Croatians in the pecking order.

King and Bongani,

Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old
COYSAFOYS
silly decision
i think if im honest with myself, he wont be good enough to be a first team player at spurs in the near future. a good, versatile squad player, but he'll be a long way down in capellos list of left-field selections too.
good luck to him, wherever he ends up.
Can't smile without you
Can't blame the lad really. He would be an outstanding championship player, but just seems short of that little extra to make him stand out in the prem, thats not to say he isn't prem standard, just not a world beater. Good luck to him whatever he decides.
i rate jamie,i think we'd be stupid to lose him imo
go on cut me....i bleed lily white blood
Can't see it happening...Danielle Lloyd is too expensive to maintain on Championship wages...
I echo what a few of you have said
i love the lad, but he isnt quite good enough to be first eleven, and he probably knows he isnt. Still a great squad player to have, but if he wants more, best of luck to himwho knows though nothing confirmed yet, maybe he wants to stay a yido!
I`d be gutted but fully understand his situation if he does go though he can hold his head high he`s always given everything for the Spurs.
if he stays with pompey and they go down he will be back in the premiership next season maybe with everton or somone similiar.....
all the same tho i wish him all the best in whatever he decides to do!
Oh - you want me to watch my mouth, how?
Take my ****in eyeballs out, and turn em around?
o hara a good grafter defo good for the squad always gives his best.
Pompey are in dire trouble and i think o'hara would be foolish to seek a permanent move there.
Someone like a Blackburn or Fulham would be better for him i think
JERMAIN DEFOE HE'S A YIDDO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If he fancies playing chumpionship football next season the fair enough.
