      Very happy with:

Crouch - coz he provides a plan B
      Bassong - grt defensive cover
Kyle's - youth and look promising
Kranjcar - touch of class for a cheap as chips price

      Not happy with:

Not signing a solid CM like Muntari.

Upset that we didnt sort out a loan deal for Bentley to City and Petrov to us.

"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."

I didn't expect to buy until Modric , Gomes , Woodgate , Dawson , and King got injured so any strengthening is good now that has happened . The problems we have had gave us no choice but to strengthen = i imagine if we had started the season with all of them fit and got all these injuries 3 weeks in - it would have destroyed our hopes of CL football . So we are unlucky = but lucky to be able to buy away our problems , Thats football at its kindest - i feel we have been let off for once .

      Its been a fantastic window.

We sold Bent and Zokora for a possible £25.5 million if all the add ons are received. Guntner for £2 million.

      £27.5 million in

We brought Couch for £9mil, Kyles for £9mil and Kancjar for £2.5mil and Bassong for £8mil.

      £28.5 Million out

I think with these signings Harry has massively improved the team so i cant see how it is not a good window.

      im happy happy...

shame we couldnt let a few dead-woods go. our wage bill must be high.

at least we have some injury cover, expect a everything-must-go sale in the jan window.

all in all pretty good. only two issues; no specific LM and no strong cover for wilson at CM; but i'm sure we'll manage until the next time we can improve the squad.

so glad we avoided anton ferdinand. i've heard of clutching at straws but that was nearly a horror story!
isn't Jenas HArrys idea of cover for Wilson? albeit a poorer one

true enough belondon; jenas flatters to deceive most of the time. but central midfielders who aren't abreft with talent when they're younger tend to improve their mental attributes through experience. bit like gareth barry. i do go between thinking that we're clutching at straws with jenas to thinking that he *might* just find that consistency.

i guess we can only really offer him our support and hope that he reaches his supposed potential!

From a finance background, I agree with this quote...we've sold on players on high wages and surplus to requirements, and replaced/improved in areas. Kranjcar and Crouch are bargains...had I known that Portsmouth were desperate for ca$h, I would have brought them myself

It has been a great transfer window. We got rid of the deadweight like Rocha, Gilberto, Chimbonda and Boateng. Only two things bothers me a little bit. That we sold Gunter (I had high hopes for him) and loaned out O'Hara (but of course, he will be back soon).

Naughton and Crouch are great signings and Bassong and Kranjcar are very, very good signings.

I think one of the main reasons that we have had such a good start to the season is because there hasn't been many changes in the team. Harry has been able to continue the great work he began in october and there was absolutely no need to sign more players this summer than he has done. I really don't think that we needed to sign anyone today and I bet Kranjcar is only here because Luka got injuried. But that doesn't mean it's not a good signing. If we had to sign someone I think he's close to perfect. He knows several of the players and Harry knows his strength and weaknesses.

      Happy times indeed!

Almost perfect. Maybe one more midfielder... why we loaned O'Hara?
      How does Kranjcar cost?

Im really really happy with how this transfer window has gone and i think Arry & Mr levy really have worked well together. Arry is class at picking out the correct players we need and you wont get a better Chairman than Mr D levy ( imo he really does care for our club)

He always seems to get the best deals for the club selling and buying! I think we would of bid for a CM player but a few problems stopped this ie getting injuries to other positions and not being able to sell players.

We all know that we have spent so much money on players over the years now and i think we did need to sell JJ or DB before we got our CM player.

I really beleive we are 1 - 3 players at most from being a great team, and he knows this! So i wont be shocked if we see our CM player in jan

Arry & Mr D levy have been great imo the best!
      My favourite spurs player!
