5 o'clock deadlines are weird

Maybe it is just me but deadline days that finish at 5pm feel really weird. i don't really know what to do with myself now!.

I usually manage to find a way of isolating myself in front of the telly, the tension building right thru the day before the big climax at midnight when it all finishes & I pass out on the couch from all the excitement!

5 o'clock & its all over? There should be 7 hours of headf**k left to go, shouldn't there?

I'm glad we did because getting Kranjcar for just £2.75m is ridiculous! You can bet your bottom dollar that the bids for Niko would've been flooding come January & the price would've gone up & up. He is worth 4 or 5x what we paid

In the end its not about transfer window its about football and at the moment we have played good football and lets hope that Modric injure dosent cost us that much. I´m actually clad that we didnt get too many new faces in the team. Also happy that Bentley stayed with us him and Crouch can make something big if he gets back on track.

All in all lets give Modric little gift, 6 points from next 2 matches as he is Injured and Croatia wont get anything from Wembley
