I just have read on the spain goal.com and the croatian Index.hr
that Real may be ready to pay 15million € + Van der Vaart to get Luka Modric.

EDIT: That's not what the article says. Putting each paragraph through google translator, it never once mentions an exhange deal. It says with Modric out we could make a definite move for VDV. It also mentions how we looked at VDV before he moved to Madrid.

1) I wouldn't take it. You can't put a price on the personality & attitude of Modric. Those players are as rare as these days.
2) It's aload of rubbish, Modric doesn't play as a second striker so it won't be a like for like. He wouldn't fit into the Real squad. Watching them yesterday they played 3 along the front with Kaka supporting and Alonso & Diarra holding.

The Spanish media said Spurs have contacted Madrid over an UNNAMED PLAYER. Everyone is assuming it is VDV because of Modric's injury but it could just as easily be Van Nistelrooy. Where Goal.com got €15m I have no idea!
The Goal.co article says that we are looking at VDV as cover for Modric, it doesn't once mention anything about us selling him or Madrid being interested in him anyway
