this could mean that 'cheap' bids will be accepted for players like bentley (£12mill to everton) and pavelychenko (£11mill to ZSP) to free up extra funds for incoming players.
that could give redknap a healthy £30-40mill war chest (when combined with existing funds) and with spurs positive start to the season we may be able to attract some quality....

I said in another thread that with modders out it could lead to either Keano dropping into LM leaving us with 3 strikers 2 of them bigguns. That inturn would lead us towards crossing the ball more meaning Bently could get his shout.
If this modders thing is true we either need a direct replacement or need to change our general tactics.
A direct replacement would cost us upwards of 25 million so I can see the latter being the prefered option.

Just something about osman chavez as someone mentioned him above, don't know exactly when Redknapp said it but one of the presenters on sky sports news quoted 'Arry as saying Chavez was "unlikely" to sign, after their spurs pre-match press conference section. The guy didn't go on so he didn't say if he couldn't get a work permit or was just poor in the trial etc but I don't think Chavez is coming to us now.

there are reports that modric has cracked a bone (at worst a full break!!) and will be out for two months minimum!!!!!
now we definitely need to buy a quality replacement....come on redknap get out the checkbood and spend big!!!!
