Hi,
Former England international David Bentley could be on his way to Everton in a deal worth £15m..The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Tottenham winger may be set to switch to the Toffees as their manager David Moyes looks to add to his squad. What do you all think? would you care if he went or not?
what because they have a few quid from the Lescott sale.
I personaly think its a pile of poop.
15 million? id snap their hand off for that money, but as unit says i think its a bag of bollox.i like bentley and i lost patinance with him last season if im honest, but maybe after the fright he got with the crash he might be turning his form around,he was very good against doncaster by all accounts, lets hope he can do the same against premiership
I dont want him at the club if im gonna b honest.
Get rid of him for at least £11 - £13 million.
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
his reaction on wednesday after scoring said it all wants to play elsewhere i say let him rather keep gio

I wuld take the £10 million ONLY IF we put it straight into signing Van der Vaart or Petrov as they will b much beta for this club than Bentley.

I would like van der vaart more than petrov thb i think he would play well with modric and palacios in midfield imo
Loadz of papers are reportin the Bentley story, very strong possibility this culd happen IF Spurs have a replacement lined up with the money from the sale.

This is what mirror football are reporting
David Moyes will this week look to Everton chairman Bill Kenwright to find the funds that will enable him to make a £10m move for Tottenham’s out-of-favour David Bentley.
The Goodison boss has been allowed to spend some of the £24m raised by the sale of Joleon Lescott to buy Diniyar Bilyaletdinov from Lokomotiv Moscow for £10m and Sylvain Distin from Portsmouth for £5m, while another £5m has been earmarked to capture Atletico Madrid defender Jonny Heitinga in the next 24 hours.
With Wolves due a 10% slice of the Lescott transfer fee, Moyes now wants the Goodison board to back him with extra cash to tempt Spurs into selling Bentley.
The England winger has had a nightmare year at White Hart Lane since moving there from Blackburn for £15m.
no!! i like bentley
go on cut me....i bleed lily white blood
Now modric is out for abit Bentley will be needed we wont sell him
i cant see bentley going now, i think he needs to get his head down and turn his career around, redknapp says he is a good bloke, just made a mistake with the drink driving, hopefully he can turn it right round and battle to get in world cup squad
Bentley mustn't go anywhere. He is playing fairly well right now. No commons with Bentley i saw past term. Harry will give him the chance he needs.
