It would be sweet to nick a quality player from them mate but it won't happen,fergie won't sell him and carrick won't come.If the player left for any other club in britain it would be a step down for him.MC and WP would be a great cm pairing,hudds doing well,but carrick is the finished article imo.His leaving for the mancs was a massive loss for us,i rated him highly.

not really chelsea nd possibly liverpool (once they overcome this bad start) are definetely better teams then fergies men. their footie is very slow nd not clinical enough now that CR has left. they dont hav that spark about them anymur. i beleive if we got carrick we wood hav a much stronger midf den dem

Chelsea maybe pal,i fancy em for the title,but not liverpool imo, i think the chavs and mancs are pulling further away from goons and scousers every year.Liverpool have a poor squad now,no strength in depth.Carrick was a bigger loss longterm than the bulgarian imo.

Him alongside Palacios would be prti awsome - Palacios brteaks the play whilst Carrick sets up the play.

I doubt Fergie is really stupid enough to let his best central midfielder go at any price right now but if he is I hope we take advantage of it. He would fit perfectly into the system that Huddlestone and Palacios are currently playing and could fight for the place of either of them because of his all round abilty.

Carrick is the missing link of our squad. I've thought about the loss pretty much every game. He was a stunning player, and alongside Palacios, we would definatley be one of the best 4 clubs in England.
