Tottenham in for £14million Sandro.

Tottenham are considering a £14million move for Brazilian prospect Sandro.

The defensive midfielder - whose full name is Sandro Ranieri Guimaraes Cordeiro - is a key performer for Internacional.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is still weighing up further deals in the transfer market after signing Peter Crouch, Sebastian Bassong, Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker.
Internacional are reluctant to lose Sandro, 20, after selling star striker Nilmar to Villareal earlier this summer but they would be tempted by a big offer, although 30 per cent of the player's rights are believed to be owned by advisors.
The former Brazil Under 20 captain is contracted until 2014 and may wait until moving to Europe.

Veloso seems to be the perfect signing in terms of sitting with Palacios and spraying balls to the wings being the silky passer (like an Alonso-Masch partnership)
Sandro would be much more risky and for the quoted £14m im sure we could get Veloso, or for a bit more Sissoko, but if Sandro is good enough and 'Arry wants him, why not?
Anyone got any good videos of this guy? I couldn't find much when i looked

I really don't understand the situation with Veloso, he came so close to joining Bolton. Now, if a team like Bolton nearly got him, what is stopping us?

Seems we still want to strengthen , but the money will have to come from somewhere - so its a case of who's going - before who we buy .

£14m seems a bit steep if you ask me. Especially for a player not proven outside of Brazil.
I really wouldnt want us to pay £14m and then see him turn out to be another Lucas.

As said before, surely for that price it would be a better bet to throw it at Sporting for Veloso.

Mate brown is a quality player who would easily slot in next to palacios, i think people are thinking hes sh*te now as the one game people watched to judge him was against Ars*nal where he didnt show his true colours. I'd be very happy if we signed brown

i wouldn't think we'd go in so hard for him if we wern't likely to get a permit for him. if our interest is true i expect we'd be likely to get him; he is the captain of the under 21s after all; and manchester utd managed to get anderson, possebon and the da silva brothers with little trouble.
