Modric seems happier and more contented than Berbatov. I don't blame Berba either. He made it clear what he wanted to do and why, and it was shown when he rejected Man City. Modric ain't leaving this season. That's for sure. If we can make the champions league, then he ain't leaving next season either.

This is not gonna happen. It`s a stupid rumour from even more stupid papers. Few days ago there was an article of Harry praising Modric and saying Ferguson described him as world class. So now reporters made a story out of this imagining a transfer. Fuk off.

Modric is irreplaceable imo, we're unlikely to get any other players like him as they are currently already at the big clubs, so I wouldn't accept any money for him. I hope that if Modric does decide to leave one day, that he shows the attitude Flamini did for the goons and refuses to sign for another English club...

The way I look at our team right now is anybody can be replaced except lennon and modric. We can't replace them and i am not worried about this because modric is a true professional. but it made me think, when we lost berby, he was hard to replace. Now, i think anyone from defoe to gomes can be replace except modric and lennon. maybe add palacios and king to that list but i wouldnt accept a 50 mil bid for lennon or modric. Just my opinion..

Yeh i saw that report, bit of a joke as Modric has bearly been with us a season...Cant rem how many years he signed for but normally aint 2 yrs hehe.
Carrick at the lane, cant see that happenning, just media on his back due to his appauling games so far this season.
All though and this is my personal opinion : I hope Modric "up's" his game a little.
I know I know hes capaple of doing brilliant things...But personally I dont see him "shine" the hole 90 mn's like the real superstars.
He shines for 5-10mn's then losses possession a bit, and going back to defend a little isnt his strong point thats for sure.
I have high hopes on him, due to so much praise he got from Arry, and alot of people on forums, but would like to see him perform consistent wise like pala/Hudds/Defoe/Lennon/King/Bassong/BAE/Hutton/ do through out 80% of the game and not just "moments".
