it looks quite clear that Hutton is not first choice anymore and could be sold if we got a decent bid. After the weekends losses for Villa and Everton, his price has probably just shot up by £2m!!
If we are able to get £20m for Hutton and Jenas, then we should take it and buy a top class central midfielder.
I would be happy with a squad like that.
I think £15m might be a bit more realistic, but who knows Levy tends to get an extra couple mill out of these deals, so maybe we could get £20m
As good as Hutton is and as excited as i was about signing him, he is injury prone and Kyle Naughton is almost as good as him already, and very shortly will be a superior player. Selling Hutton won't effect the team too much, but hey if we kept him i will not complain. As long as Jenas does go and we sign Sissoko (or Brown... im beginning to sound like a parrot!)
Everton are supposedly interested: Everton set to make £12million swoop for Tottenham duo - MirrorFootball.co.uk
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
£12M for both! Do one Moyes!!!!!![]()
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!
hutton should do well tonight
I like Hutton, he is quality back-up for Corluka and can fill in wen needed.

I just like the fact we have defensive cover, keep hold of him.
I for one am really happy with our squad at current, Hutton played very well Charlie did well in the center. We are stupid to sell up anyone let's hope this is all paper rubbish

Here here mate, we have stability at the club now, don't want to see anyone going, nice group of lads.
I've just seen the replay of the tackle he pulled off from behind on Hunt in our area. Absolutely class!!! made up a lot of ground and knocked the ball perfectly away from Hunt as he was shooting and it trickled into Cudicini's arms.
Hutton played very well last night, was one of our best players. I didn't think Redknapp would choose him over Naughton, but am glad he did as he was doing very well before his injury. I would like us to keep him now.
But Jenas has to go.
yup did a great job and shows the great depth we have at the back now.
Such a diference from what we are used to.
im not sure id let jenas go now; as the marked improvement in huddlestone might mean he'll pull his finger out a bit more, with everyone around him playing well he might raise his game consistently. a bit hopeful i know but it could happen right?
