This guy was let go by Chelsea, he's not strong enough for the Prem, he will always be a good Championship striker. The End.
I've followed him a bit at Palace. He gets played often on the wing, although most Palace fans feel he is wasted out there and needs to be played in a central position. He hasn't progressed as much as many thought he would in the last year, and i doubt he's ready to be at a higher end prem club as yet. Aparently he hasn't shown the commitment and dedication to allow him to a full success at senior level, and has tended to only show flashes of brilliance. Palace really could do with selling right now though, serious financial trouble going on. I think a team like Wigan or Fulham would suit him better, although im not 100% sure he's good enough for these teams yet. He is only 18, and has a very good record for England U-17s (scored 3 at the youth world cup before getting injured) although thats obviously not enough to go by! If he has a good season in the CCC he might be worth the money being banded about, but he hasn't done enough to prove it yet

yep not 'keane' at all thanks. i know you should read into statistics but he scored 3 times in 32 appearances last term. i was under the impression he was a ST but im not sure.
to me 5mil seems quite ridiculous and quite a waste of money. if we want to get any 18year old striker it should be delfonso. but that not the point. we dont need this sort of player at the moment at all i feel.

why would we get him ? we havent got a reserve team and i cant see he would want to come here to play u18s football ? he looks a good prospect but palace got a few good prospects with sean scannel being a better prospect imo.

If we wanted a youngster we could go for Ipswich's Connor Wickham, the guy looks class, only 16 im sure he is destined for big things.
Saw him against Coventry and he looked really lively, then he scored in the CC. Aparently had a really good pre season as well... so yeah Wickham looks a hell of a prospect at just 16! Will be interesting to see how develops this season
victor moses is a great prospect saw him play against citeh except he played on left and on the second half on the right........hes defo gt the potential to b bettr then lennon and as gd as ashley young
I dont think so, and hes not naturally a winger and Palace fans hate him being played on the wings, they want him more centrally
i remember when we got bostock a friend of mine who supports palace saying to me he was just glad we didnt get moses. however, I dont think he is what we need atm (although he can play LW).

He was superb against Citeh last night, caused them SO many problems. I really wouldn't mind him coming here if he plays like that & it looked as tho he can do a job on the LW also as he spent a lot of time hugging the left touchline
