If you were warming the bench at a smaller club (well the physio table), who wouldnt? I can't see Milan being too keen on him in all honesty, maybe when he finds form and starts impressing people again. Keep hold of the lad for 1 more year, if he still has serious form issues then get rid of him. If he comes good, we have a hell of a player. In left midfield![]()
______bye______
I dont blame him either, As stated he is not in the starting 11 for us and he may get a chance at Milan and a nice big singing on fee to go with it!
i say get rid of him hes failed to impress from last season
Essex - COYS
excluding the ramos era where i cant remeber too many players who even played half decent week in week out.....how many games did he start? i bet you could count them on 1 hand......hes had a terrible problem with injury this season which would affect anyone.
jol thinks he could be the best in europe, mourinho thinks very highly and hes being linked with ac milan......now forgive me if im wrong but are these teams not always in the champions league and known as european super powers? now why would we get rid of him when he is obviuosly seen to be great.
some are very quick to judge players after say one bad season, then forgive after a good season....the guy is quality...AND ONLY 20.....
he will come good....hang on its not even like he has to prove himself as before his first injury, he was one of if not our best player in the games he played, and that was infront of keane and berba at the time......

keep the faith in Bale. He could become our best player.
Bored of players wanting to go to the next level after failing at this one.
Go on gareth sling ya hook you mercinary twerp.
when has he ever said anything about wanting to leave?
Tad harsh comments on here i think!
before last season we were all raving about the boy!
this is also a slightly odd point, and some would say minor, but has anyone noticed that gareth Bale (Home and away) is one of the few players to come over to the fans and give appreciation for the support?
like i say, some may consider this a minor point, but to me, is the reason i'm happy to give him every opportunity to impress and certainly won't **** the boy off!
anyone who can't see that Bale will become a top quality player needs their eyes tested.
He is the most naturally gifted player in our squad.
have to defend my man Luka Modric here and say he probably is actually mate but i get your point!
I am actually shocked at some of the opinions here!
Bale is one of the most promising players in football if you ask me. The guy was incredible in his 1st season here with us. He had injury problems and then knocks too his confidencen THAT IS ALL.
If we sell him I will be amazed/in mourning!
Martin Jol On building his Spurs legacy: 'This is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and I want to be part of its history,'
not sure why we're looking at ashley young when i reckon bale could do just as good a job on the left wing in time. certainly as good as downing who was our initial target in that position. a few games and he'll be whipping in crosses to crouchy like nobody's business.
its well known bale was originally touted by baconface as the natural successor to giggs when he was interested in signing the lad, so i don't understand why we've always tried to play him defensively when this is where he is distinctly lacking. just seems pretty stupid if you ask me.
