Earlier on someone i think i read a post where someone was asking which of our youth players have moved on loan (probably in the Townsend thread). Quick bit of research and i now have a list for you.
Adel Taarabt (QPR)
Ben Alnwick (Norwich)
Kyle Walker (Sheffield Utd)
Steven Caulker & Ryan Mason (Yeovil)
Troy Archibald-Henville (Exeter)
Andros Townsend (Orient)
Adam Smith (Wycombe)
David Button (Crewe)
Tomas Pekhart (Sparta Prague)
Yuri Berchiche (Real Valladolid) (not sure if this is loan or permanent, not clear yet)
Sheffield United seem to be showing an interest in Danny Rose with a view to a 1 month loan with possibility to extend to a season long loan. Reading have also shown an interest in Dorian Dervite, however i expect the above two to stick around in the squad and get some CC game time. Only time will tell though. Ill try and keep you updated if there are any other movers. I cant remember who it was that originally asked but i hope this helps.

berchiche is definitely permanent, wouldn't be surprised if rose and that went on short loans given how hard our start is, (3 of the top 4 is first six games!), because of the lack of reserve team this year, expect this month to be the loaned out month, obika, parratt and all those will be off for a while and to be honest, if they are at decent teams, it is be a lot more benficial.
Also I look after/run the Spurs season pages on wikipedia:
Tottenham Hotspur F.C. season 2009–10 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nothing goes on there until official so another place for you to check, just in case you miss any out. (hope that helps)
Nothings Forgotten, Nothing is ever forgotten
I think its a good move not entering a team into the reserve league, now more young players can go out on loan and experience real football and learn their trade
BTW, I think Pekhart to Prague will be made permanent in January, which is a shame as I was hoping to see him play for the 1st team one day

3rd in the league
If we win our next game we will stay 3rd

I am more worried about the Bostocks, Dervites, GDS, Roses etc etc.
On the fringe of getting first games, but I cant see the 4 of those starting more than 10 times in total or having more than 20 appearances between them.... With no reserves teams its not looking good. We are going to have to loan out everyone bar 2 keepers, 6 defenders, 6 mids and 4 strikers you would think....
I was under the impression that we'll still have a reserves side, it just wont be competing in the reserves league.
If this is the case then i dont see what would stop us arranging reserve matches with other teams as & when it suits our side & when its more beneficial to the youngsters.
Such a good idea not having a ressie team and loaning out these lads.
They get their wages paid by the loan club (or some of it) they get proppa competitive football, and genuine football experience and exposure.
That exposure puts them in the window if they aint up to par for us.
Well done Arry.
Sorry I meant not having a reserves side playing in a reserves league.
I dont see why other teams will want to organise friendlies when it suits us considering all other teams (that I know of) will still be playing in the reserves league. I am just skeptical..
Nah mate a few sides have jogged it on i think.
I think its a corking move if just to save some cash.
Ressy coach..........NO
Ressie kit man............NO
Ressie wages..............Reduced
Makes so much sense to me.
Apparently we are set to sign one of your kids on loan tomorrow according to Clough. The talk is it could be Jake Livermore? Anyone heard anything? How good is he?
Livermore is a great prospect, he scored a good header against Barca's second string just over a week ago with almost his first touch.
He is a strong player, quite big and a good presence in the middle of the pitch. From what iv seen he has a good passing range and can score. He has just sign a 2 year contract so that proves Tottenham rate him.
I think it will be good for him to go to Derby under Clough and good for Derby to have him. Hopefully it goes through ok.
Thanks for the reply, sounds promising. So is he a more attacking midfielder, a winger or a defensive midfielder then? I think Clough wants an attacking midfielder, we took Randall from your rivals on a trial with a view to a loan but opted out because he was too defensive.
Id say he can be a attacking center mid but he is capable of doing a defencive job in the middle. He scored a few goals for the youth but if i was to decribe him id say he is a all round center mid.
Imo he would be a good loan signing.
If he goes feel free to keep us informed on how he is doing. Always nice to no how our loanies are getting on.
I will do that if he comes, sounds like he could be just the cover we need. Although we still need a striker!
Sorry to double post but Clough has confirmed it is Livermore who is coming on Monday.
