With Real signing Alonso & Harry having worked & is a big fan of Lassana would it b wrong in thinking Arry may hav another shot of signing the little Frenchman? With the apparent asking price of Sissoko mayb a bid for Diarra will b on the cards. What do u guys think?
Sorry if theres a thread on Diarra I couldnt see anything tho.
if not lass we might be in for the other diarra or gago.
HaRry said a while back tht we had enquired about lasanna diarra but tht madrid said no and so we moved on.
Diarra is an out and out DM where as Alonso is a deep playmaker, they should strike up a decent partnership like he had with Masch at pool, so can't see them looking to sell him anytime soon.
Even if this could happen ( I very much doubt it will), this chap would only be with us for about a season. There is no doubt he is quality but he has already shown his colours in his short career, he would be great and then when a bigger club came in for more money he would be packing up his already well worn suit case and jogging on.
^^
behave, he didnt get a look in at chelski or arsenal so he went to pompey. and if real madrid come knocking and your club is skint and on the downward spiral (they were at the time) its a no brainer.
i agree i doubt it will happen tho
TOTTENHAM 'TIL I DIE!
Lass is an important part of the team. He's never been for sale.
Lass, X.Alonso; Kaka, Sneijder/Granero; Ronaldo, Benzema.
Will Granero see that much game time? I've always liked the look of him.
Madrid really need to start selling! Some bargains could be afoot
I hope so. He has been the best player in pre-season, playing better than Sneijder and more minutes. Last season in Getafe he was fantastic so he was bought-back. And he's only 22. His nickname is "The pirate" (El pirata) because of his look.
Regarding the sellings, it's true that is getting late, but it was expected since buyers know about the overbooking so they're waiting till bargain-time come. But it's also risky for buyers since as soon as a some club does a good offer... it happened with Huntelaar, if TH had made a good offer 2 or 3 weeks ago, he'll be playing for Spurs.
Van der Vaart will leave for 10 million euros, IMO it's a bargain, he's class but Pellegrini does not want him. I think it's the only bargain since Drenthe, if leaves, will be a loan, so Garay, and it seems that Madrid wants Negredo to go on loan or a buy-back clause since Ruud ends contract this season, Raul is old and slow, and Alvaro is playing really well in pre-season games. I really like Negredo, he'll be a top pure-9 striker, he has great conditions.
VDV for 10 million Euros is indeed a HUGE bargain when you look at this current market. I'd actually struggle to think of a better bargain tbh. Tbqfh aswell.
I wonder who he will end up with?
Btw Madris what do you think of Garay? I really liked the look of him at Racing but haven't seen much of him in a while. Also do you have any idea as to the futures of players like De La Red,Diarra and Gago. Sorry if you have mentioned this somewhere else!

Harry has clearly stated that we put a £12m bid in for Barry. A Left footed central midfielder, that can play out wide. . . . . so why not get involved in a bit of VDV for the same price?
Garay so far is a decent back. He had a great season two years ago with Racing, scoring many goals (penalty kicks, free kicks) then Madrid bought him and left him another season at Racing, but last season he didn't played well. He is tall, good header, he is good with the ball but he is very slow. It seems that he is in the loan list since with Pepe, Albiol, Metzelder and Arbeloa he has no place.
De La Red... I doubt he'll come back to the fields. He has a heart condition, a similar one to Puerta and Jarque who are dead. He hasn't played for more than a year since he vanished during a game due to his heart. He was a very good promise, IMO he would have been better than Alonso.
M.Diarra and Gago play in the same position but they're very very different players. Diarra is vey good defending, it's huge, but he is a mess with the ball in his feet; Gago is the opposite, he's kinda soft, more tactical, and good with the ball. There's a big discussion in Madrid fans about who should stay.
What is it with Spanish players & heart conditions? I can't help but think it is connected to these diets that they are put on. Juande came to Spurs & made himself thoroughly unpopular by making everyone eat 'healthy'. However, & I am no expert, I do wonder how healthy such light diets really are when you are expected to exert yourself physically so much. You need a bit of fat for your body to burn off surely. I don't know, like I say I'm no expert, I just find it weird how Spain seems to be effected so badly by this problem, in very young players, when it is not really heard of anywhere else.
As far as VDV goes, Inter have today expressed an interest in him, so I would not be too surprised to see him end up with Mourinho
King and Bongani,
King and Bongani bong!!
(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old
COYSAFOYS
S**t I did not know that about De La Red... such a shame he really looked like a developing talent. I agree with your opinions of him in comparison to Alonso he certainly caught my eye when I saw him.
Ha ha I thought there might be some discussion about Diarra and Gago as like you say despite their positions they are entirely different players. I'm not so sure why, apart from the obvious glamour that went with it, Madrid bought Alonso. I see Gago as a similiar player and he is, like you say, good with the ball. I realy rated him when he was at Boca and was impressed when Madrid signed him. I would imagine, tell me if I'm wrong, that he is the more popular of the 2?
