Marseille have pretty much signed another of our one time targets, Gabby Heinze, and im pretty sure he'll be first choice there. Does that mean Taiwo would become available? If so... snap him up!

i have purely said that crouch may be the better team player! I'd love us to sign huntelaar!
I watch as much foreign football as the next person so i know about these players but i get the impression so many people want to sign foreigners that we know barely anything about just because they are more glamorous.
Taiwo isn't just a randomer though, very good full back in a position we might need reinforcement. He isnt great defensively aparently, but he is pretty solid, and has great pace and power, and would add a lot to the team

Taiwo you're not needed...particularly if your second fiddle to Heinze

So only one player is needed in a position? Quality in depth is required... and Bale and O'Hara are not left backs imo
As someone said previously i'd rather have Warnock, but it all seems VERY quiet on that front
