I know it's only goal.com, of course, but I like hutton, quite a fan, so i'd be quite sad if he were to leave. Weird though, since he's been involved into most, if not all, all our preseason matches so far..
he has been a shadow of the player he was at rangers, maybe he just hasnt settled so well. We got enough right backs without hutton, could do with the money
Not been good enough and his injury record is appauling. If we can get back a resonable amount i would sell. We have good players there.
Not good enough to worry if he stays or goes. As someone said he was good for Rangers but would that be that hard when your playing against St Mirren, Kilmarnock and Hamiltion Accies most weeks?
Selling Bale, Hutton and Chimbonda would easily give us £20m to fund signing a new LB and a LW.
Having Naughton and Corluka at RB with BAE and a new LB would streamline the squad and free up some valuable transfer funds, not to mention create more money on the wage bill.

to be fair to him i really rated him when he first joined, but after that injury he hasn't been the same. 7 mill is a gd price imo

I like Hutton but don't think he's the right player to have as just a back-up. I would much rather see Kyle Naughton step in on RB when needed. So I guess it makes sense than Hutton leaves. And it's quite a good price compared to what we payed for him and how much he has played for us.

To be honest though. We've not had a good enough return for him, he's barely played 20 games for us over the 18 months we've had him. £7mil is great money I feel
just take the money and walk him to the door =) no disrespect but he hasn't shown us anything special during the time he was here.
