think the papers and agents hyped us up to make a bid and we didnt fancy it in the end
man city was his only option in the end
bit pissed off that we didnt want him especially with him in all the papers saying he wanted to join and we bid 7.5 last year
but i trust the boss to have a deal lined up for the left side possibly Nene or phillips

The papers are so full of it. They said we offered 5.4 then city were upping their bid to 6 then announce he went for 4.7 i think their all on crack. If we didn't bid then i also hope Jol has an ace up his sleeve, we really need that position filled quickly.
