      Freddy Adu, absolute quality player.

was in the papers today that we are set to hijack celtic's bid to sign him.

I can see what your saying but he's better than Landon Donovan and he's done well away from the US. I think with a year or so training with us and he'll be quality he reminds me a little of wayne rooney at times

Freddy Adu is not good, watched him play yesterday played extremely selfish... give him a couple more years for him to develop his skills

Trust me... Adu is not, and wont be good enough to play in the Premier League. I saw him line up for DC United against Real madrid last August and he looked like a fish out of water. So much so Roberto Carlos literally could not stop himself laughing everytime he took the ball off Adu's toes. He has been relegated to the US U20s after failing to make a consistent impact on the full national side and is looking pretty mediocre at Real Salt Lake.

Do not touch this player witha 30 foot pole!

Yeah Vancouver i Appreciate the agreeing with me, he may end up being a star but at the moment he is still developing, hes good for an amerian 18 year old for sure no Gareth Bale, talent wise. He may never be ready for the top flight and if he is it will be for a team like a Derby who will be up and down. For USA's Sake i hope he develops into a great player to avoid another embarassing world cup

I have to say peeps that i agree with riverwire, ive seen this lad play about 15 times and he shows amazing talent and potential. Maybe he's not up to the prem yet but at £2 million you cant complain to possibly have the best export out of the states EVER ! id take the risk , he couldnt be that bad otherwise ManU, arsenal and Chelsea wouldnt have been looking at him last year ..

Aaarrrhhh its great to be back :1:

The thing is is, neither Chelsea or ManUre really rated Adu, and when asked about him Ferguson told the press "what about him?" and promptly sent him home.

Clint Dempsey is a far better player.
