Ive got this strong feeling that Defoe is gonna be on Svens wanted list coz to be honest how many decent strikers are around at the moment that are really available.Im not quite sure that JD is gonna hang around as a super sub or the odd game he needs to play regular.Perhaps if he goes Sven might take Mido as well!!!!

I agree. There's no way that JD will want to work for the Swedish twat after the World Cup fiasco . How could JD have been left out of a squad with a need for strikers in order to include a teenager who didn't even kick a ball and hasn't proved much since.

i don't think its a matter of "needing" its weather you want another striker thats better than defoe, prob wouldn't be a good idea thou as the rotation system may not suit everyone where defoe is happy with it

City have just lashed out £8.8m for Rolando Bianchi (never heard of him - bet he scores 30!) from Reggina. With that kind of outlay and the potential trouble that Shinawatra could be in if the corruption charges are founded..... could they really afford Defoe? He ain't going to go cheap, let's face it!
