Spurs renew interest in Brazilian winger

Spurs are set to renew their interest in Brazilian winger Nene after his agent has indicated he would welcome a move to England.

Spurs previously made a bid for the left sided Celta Vigo winger during the January transfer window without success, but after the player's agents comments the north London club are likely to rekindle their interest as they look to resolve their well documented left sided problems.

Antonio Cardozo, agent to Nene, told the Sunday Mirror:

"We expect a deal to be done before the start of the season."

Spurs are not alone in their admiration of Nene and could face competition from fellow Premiership clubs, Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham.

Celta went down so he will be gagging for a move anywhere!! could get him cheaper aswell. But this could just be is agent trying to create interest rather than us being interested. Still think we will get Petrov just waiting for athletico to get a replacement and read that Queasma(spelling) from Porto is there completing a move.
