Arjen Robben To Head Real Madrid Dutch Sale Under Florentino Perez - Report - Goal.com
these two could be the answer to our prayers, robben is a left sided player and sneijder is a box-to-box midfielder, these two play in positions that have troubled us for a while and if they are up for sale they could be going at a bargain price!![]()

Robben would be great for left midfield and the perfect replacement for Jenas if he leaves is Sneijder. These two ooze class and Robben supported Tottenham from a young age, so this is opportunity to play for a childhood club.
It's also a huge opportunity to break our wage structure. Besides, these 2 are too good to be playing for a side like us, they'd fit in practically any side in the world imo.
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
Sorry but no-one is too good to play for us. I'd love to see Robben here but as said will break our wage structure.
Ok, maybe too good for Spurs weren't the right choice of words, but my point was that these 2 would be chased by all sorts of teams who are in CL every year, and have more money to offer than us, so they'd probably choose the bigger clubs rather than us. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE them here, but I just don't see it happening. Besides, Sneijder is an attacking midfielder a lot like Modric, and if we have Modric and Sneijder in the midfield it would disrupt the balance of the team with 2 playmakers and just 1 holding midfielder (Palacios)
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
Sneijder I believe is more box to box but prefers to play some attacking football but tracks back. Hey whats wrong with that?
sneijder im not so sure that he would sign but robben would definately consider it as he is a yid
he would hve to choose between where his heart tells him to go or to where his head tells him to go

Without C/L football i cant see how it is at all possible to attract either of these 2 to spurs. They are big time players and wont and to waste a year or more of there careers playing outside the Champions League. Untill we manage to step up then i dont think its even worth dreaming of players like these 2 playing for us.
robben would be amazing. harry should tap him out right away![]()
Anyone remember who he played for before madrid???
Great player with proven EPL experience.
However it will be a huge ask to land them without any type of Euro footy.
don't make me laugh robben wouldn't come!!! We probly won't even get uefa cup next season but i have belife lol
Sorry to put a dampener on this whole thing but Bindippers are the more likely to get Schneider. They turned him down and bought Babel (Big Flop) instead so fresh interest from Anfield is on the cards especially as Real look as though they want him out.
Robben will probably end up somewhere like Bayern Munich. This could be a possibility as Manure look to be lining up Bayerns Franck Ribery as a replacement for Ronaldo when his innevitable move to Real becomes a reality in the Summer.
Unforunately its looks like Spurs will be a less glamorous option to players like these until we get CL football, its a sad and annoying fact but true none the less.

We will find some unknown black beast of a lad who will be great for us.
Manchester City Eyeing Real Madrid's Arjen Robben – Report
The Netherlands international winger could be available for around €20 million this summer...
1 May 2009 08:33:18
According to a report in the British tabloid The Daily Mirror, Premier League money-men Manchester City will make a move for Real Madrid's Arjen Robben at the end of the season.
The Netherlands international, who has scored ten goals in 37 caps, is apparently not in the plans of Florentino Perez, the figure expected to become Real’s club president in the summer.
It is thought that Inter may be interested in acquiring the flying winger's services, however, the versatile forward may be reluctant to move to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza because he did not enjoy the best of relationships with head coach Jose Mourinho while they were at Chelsea.
That could leave the Citizens in pole position to land the 25-year-old, with los Blancos expected to listen to offers in the region of €20 million (£18m), which should be well within City's reach.
Apparently, los Merengues’ willingness to sell one of their most prized assets is an indication that they may well be preparing another move for Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo.

20 million euros is a steal!! We should go in for him if this article is true!
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
Imagine they came along with Beckham!!! Haha what a midfield! Wouldnt it be great if there were a few big name players like this that wanted to make a side with potential into a great side and get them into Europe and challenge for trophies rather than go to an already successful team who are in CL every year. Would be heroes instead of just another player at a big team!!!
£25-30 million would do for Robben and Sneider...bargain!!!
In a world full of City's and United's...there is only one Hotspur
