Would have been great to have him a few years back, but he is deadly inside the box.
Just give Pav a decent run in the team and we won't need to fork out for a has been striker.
He would still score goals. He was born to do it.

Btw, the sounds of it we are going to buy half of the Real Madrid team, Van Der Vaart, Canavaro, Heinze and now Van Nistelrooy?
He's still a great goal scorer. Even at the beginning of this season he scored 10 in 12 games before he got injured. He's scored 63 goals in 93 games for Real.
I still think he's got a season or two left in him but I'd be put off by the expense and the possibility of further injury. If we could get him for a nominal fee and get him on a pay-as-you-play type contract then I would snap him up. However, he'd probably never agree to that.
