Reports this morning are claiming that Spurs are set to confirm the signing of central defender Younes Kaboul later today.
Kaboul has been linked with a move to Spurs since the end of the French season when Auxerre vice-president Gerard Bourgoin told reporters: "he is discussing with Tottenham and that negotiations are in a good way. Now we wait and see."
Kaboul's agent Ruby Rada added further fire to the flames last week when he said:
"Younes has told Auxerre that he loves Tottenham,
"We will see what happens in the next couple of days.
Reports this morning claim that despite undergoing a medical some weeks ago, the deal has been delayed for unknown reasons. Those reasons now appear to be resolved as Kaboul is set to be unveiled as a Spurs player today.
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
Where is he then? Maybe it's not happening today after all, maybe he has signed they just forgot to tell us, who knows! :29: [shadow=blue:847d3d9feb][/shadow:847d3d9feb]
Europa League, sounds like a Japanese car to me!
Just read a report saying it's stalled, something about money (which I believe is the reason it's taken this long anyway..)
"It's no use just winning, we've got to win well."
i heard a while ago that everything was agreed he has passed his medical signed a contract when it came to auxerre to sign it they refused demanding more money then originally agreed, not by a couple of thou but millions!!
So until thats resolved we wait
The sleeping giant has awoke
i just want it to be over and done with that way he has more time to gel with the teeam

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of French Under 21 international Younes Kaboul from Auxerre.
The North London club have not released any details regarding the fee, but previous reports suggest they have paid out £8.2million to capture one of France's brightest prospects.
Kaboul made 51 appearances during his time at Auxerre but has now followed Gareth Bale and Darren Bent in joining Martin Jol's ambitious side over the summer.
Jol told the club's official website: "If you ask people in France who is seen as the hottest prospect in defence they will say Younes Kaboul.
"We are very happy to have him on board. It's important to have quality players in defence and with Younes, we have that."
Kaboul will compete with Michael Dawson, Ledley King and Ricardo Rocha for a starting role at White Hart Lane next season, and sporting director Damien Comolli believes the young Frenchman has the quality to make a real impact on the Premier League.
"Younes possesses power, great pace and is good on the ball and strong in the air," said Comolli.
"He is a good leader who showed a great desire to come to us despite interest and offers from numerous other clubs.
"From day one he said 'I want to play for Spurs' and his personality made a big impression on Martin and myself. He has been a regular in the Auxerre first team for the past two seasons and is an excellent signing."
Kaboul's former team-mate at Auxerre, Bakari Sagna, has also been strongly linked with a move to North London with Arsenal over the summer.
