When West ham agreed a fee with Chalton, Murry and the board let everyone know so rival bids could be made, they will do the same again.

I'm more inclined to believe reports in (say) The Guardian, than something like The Mail or Express. Whatever the truth is, and as much faith as I put in Martin's judgement, any fee now for Bent (from anybody, be it Spurs, Liverpool, whoever) will be vastly inflated thanks to West Ham. Idiots.

Richard Murry is probably desprete to sell Bent as he has lost 40mill going down and cant sell anyone else as they are not worth much!!
If Bent is Mr Jol's 1st choice he will wait until 31st aug to get him at a fair price.
I did hear a rumour that Bent is scum bound and is waiting to replace Henry thats why he said no to west ham

thank you, the price charlton are asking is rediculous i mean we got Berbatov for 10.9 mill so 15 mill for bent is just out of the question, we need to concentrate on getting a left winger. :23:
