Will Buckley of Rochdale!!

This 20 year old striker is becoming one of the most in demand strikers outside of the Championship. He has no less than 4 Premiership clubs monitoring his progress & it is thought that Spurs are among his growing admirers.

I have to admit that I know very little of him but it would not be unlike Harry. I just hope he's not another Nugent!

If he is we should spend a fortune getting his signature then let him languish in the ressies for 3 or 4 years then ofload him to the Shammers for a stupendous loss.

Simon Cox was also being tracked by us in January. He looks like a supeb striker & some of his finishing has been real quality even if it has been in League 1.

Buckley I know very little of however. I know he can also play in midfield but tends to play on the right where we are already well covered.

I suspect that it is only natural that we would take a look at him given the interest of at least 3 other Premiership clubs (Megson was going to biod £1m on him in January apparently).

Looking at Buckley's stats, he is not much of a goalscorer, so I'm guessing his assists must be decent if he is attracting so many suitors.

megson isnt bad at picking young players from the lower leagues at good prices.he made a real steal in getting mark davis who i think is a really good player and was brillant against us at the reebok

i think cox is on his way to better things he has scored half of swindons goals this season which is amazing at any level tbh

Newcastle & WBA are now favourites to sign Cox. Must be preparing for life in the Championship!!!
