Apparently Spurs are among a number of clubs courting the Sheffield United young defender. Manchester City, Fulham, Aston Villa are all showing big interest as well as Spurs prompting the suggestion of a summer auction. However, I'm not convinced we need to be troubling ourselves with him, however good he may be. Naughton plays as a RB & can move into RM. Correct me if I'm wrong but we already have a ton of talent down our right-hand side, including our own talented youngster Chris Gunter. Personally I feel we should be concentrating our efforts in solving our left-hand side, but what do I know!

Spot on Basskadet. This has been a constant fascination with our club in buying players in positions that we are already well covered in, at the exspense of areas that we are lacking in.
Take last summer, we decide to bring in a £17 million right midfielder and £16.5 million attacking midfielder (two positions that we have adequate options), whilst we decide to sell our one decent left midfielder (Malbranque) and leave it until January to buy a defensive central midfielder (Palacios).
Let's hope it's not more of the same this Summer.
"There's always next year..."
I think we should show an interest just so that the scum pay too much for him like they did with Walcott . But we are certainly well covered in that department .
