been reading there is a chance modric is being linked with italy thoughts on this
I think the press will print any bullsh!t if they think it will sell the paper . I dont take any notice until there's an offer on the table .
I think this is well of the mark, there was an interview with Modric's agent the other day stating that it would take a bid in excss of £20 million for Modric and due to the state of the finances in Italy, this seems very unlikely. Also Modric is playing with his best friend Corluka and I think this will always play a major part in Modrc's stay with us.
I'm actually a bit more worried that fergie will try to snap. He talked Luka up after the cup final and whenever he does that about a spurs player I get very worried!
Yeah just saw this on sky sports website too , although normally when the agent is the one doing the talking its rumours.
Rednap was only saying the other day that spurs wont be selling their best players and someone needs to have some balls to tell the players they will honour their contracts. I think he'll be staying

This is bullcrap. Everytime a good player plays in a club that underperforms, papers and agents begin to speculate with transfers. Modrić already said he is not interested and doesn`t want to leave, so what else should he do? Wear a fkin shirt with "fck you, I`don`t want to leave" written on it (would be cool, though). He is a very down to earth bloke. He has a club with great tradition and aspirations, fans that love him. His best friend plays also for his team, he lives in an exciting city what he already said. So WTF? Juve and Inter can piss off.
I don`t want him to leave in a boring calcio. No way. EPL is currently a mecca for footballers, and I`m sure every player is aware of this. It`s not like he plays for West Brom FFS!

If Modric does indeed leave then I, as a fan, will seriously be questioning the clubs ambitions to progress to CL level.

We attract agood level of footballer to the EPL and every so often we buy a real gem.
Yet every single time this gem of ours starts to sparkle the papers are on us like stink on s**t.

Berbatov's agent made an off the cuff remark a season into his Spurs career saying that Berbatov would love to one day play for Manure, then the press jump on it and 12 months down the line where did he end up?
The press turn players heads and its been the same since the EPL started. I reckon Fergie pays them a subsidiary ammount of money for every player they manage to unsettle, then finally end up in his pocket. Rooney, Carrick, Berbatov, Sherringham, Cole, Yorke and Ferdinand, all high profile players having their names splashed across the tabloids then finally ending up where? Old Trafford.
I am getting sick of seeing our players being linked with other teams every single bloody season and its about time Spurs made a statement of intent on SSN saying "Hands Off". We need to build for the future because if we dont, then I very much doubt me or my son will ever see Spurs playing anything but midtable football and occasionally winning the League Cup.

we dont know how hes settling in behind the scenes ,sometimes players from abroad just dont like london life its certinally nothing to do with things on the pitch.this really stinks of something fishy because hes only in his first season so i cant see it being about an approved contract at spurs im a little worried tbo
