Apparently we are looking at making a move for the next German wunderkid, Bilal Marzouki. He currently plays at Mainz & is moroccan in descent.
I would imagine he would be joining our youth set-up as opposed to our 1st XI
The article mentions Mountakhab. That wouldn't be the same Mountakhab who occasionally post on this site would it?

King and Bongani,

Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old

Sound like another KPB?
Sorry to be negative Bass but we have heard all this before and we end up with a nobody.
Pekhart, Dervitte, Taarabt, Kaboul & KPB all had this amazing promise that came or is coming to nothing.
As long as he is cheap i suppose we could add another one to the pile of promising starlets.

Well, I don't know anything about the kid so no need to apologize to me. I actually thought the same thing! I don't think its fair saying 'we've heard this before' in regards to Taarabt & Dervite as they are bith still young, developing players & there is no doubt that both possess plenty of talent, its just a question of getting them to apply it properly.
I think we forget just how young Taarabt is but there is a MAJOR difference in this case. Whereas before we were sold those players you mention by our completely incompetent DoF, Commoli, this time the lad has been specifically identified by Harry & his own scouts.
This kid is young, I don't think he'll be bought for our 1st XI like KPB misguidedly was. This kid hasn't even yet signed a contract with the club he is with so if we do go for him, he'll be cheap as chips. Typical Harry
I also feel that now with Harry here we have finally got our youth team under control. How much of that was down to Ramos I'm not sure but things are looking good with Alex Inglethorpe & Clive Allen working together.

Lets hope Harry and his Crew come up trumps with this kid then mate.
You heard of anyone else sniffing round him?
With a name like Marzouki, he has Gooner written all over him especially at such a low price.

Well it's 'Arry who wants to sign him, not dumb@$$ Comolli!
Anyway he'll either be next Taarabt (Moroccan descent) or KPB (German nationality)
One or the other....time will tell
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
lets just kidnap him like ferguson did to berbatov![]()
In my opinion we can't use the past failures as an example. Harry has a totally different team scouting players and we have yet to see there ability for spotting talent.
Look at some of the young players he has had in the past, rio, joe cole, frank lampard, gareth barry, defoe. Also he done some great business for portsmouth.
