Well i'm not surprised that Liverpool are interested, they've been sniffing around him for a while now i believe.
I did read somewhere that Lennon is getting a pay rise, so hopefully that might make him stay.

hes been unbelieveable this season and if liverpool had come in 2 seasons ago when he had a real dip in form we would have snapped their hand off,but it will say alot about spurs if hes allowed to leave in the summer we need to be buying better quaility players not selling arguabily our best player this season.lets hope keano gets in his ear and tells him what a bunch of scumbags the bindippers are,but we can not underestimate the draw of cl football next season espeically with us not even in europe

Lennon wont go to a team with a complete disregard for playing wingers.

Liverpool never ever use wingers. They use Kuyt out wide (who is a striker) Gerrard on the RW (occasionally) Babel on the LW (another Striker). They dont actually have wingers in their squad.

Show me ONE out and out winger in their entire squad.
Benayoun is an AMC but does play wide admitedly so he can be an exception.

Liverpool will try and sign Lennon just because they can and it will sell shirts. They are one of the worst teams in Europe for developing young wide players (Pennant ring any bells?). No wide player is ever guaranteed a start every week at the Bindippers and it would be a major backward step for Lennon if he decided to leave.

Surely what happened to Keano should scare him off the idea.

As much as I would hate to see Lennon go, I do think he is replaceable, especially if we can mug the scousers for a second time like we did with Keane (&let's face it, we could probably buy him back in 6 months for half the price again! lol). He is great but his final ball is a real problem. He's getting better at it but we could find someone fairly quickly who can provide a bit of flair as well as consistency I reckon.

Lennon is pretty loyal to Spurs but the chance to play in CL might lure him away. However, we HAVE to get at least £20m for him. If we can wangle that I say let him go & bring in Stephane Sessegnon IMMEDIATELY!

as good as lennon has been this season, if liverpool came in with 20 million on the table i'd find that hard to turn down... he still lacks a final ball.. i dont think the scousers would love him like we do though and it would probably be the ruin of him.

I can't really see Liverpool having the cash for a player like Lennon. Especially when the two Davids (Villa and Silva) become available in the Summer. Levy surely won't let another player go against the fans and the management's wishes so I don't see this move happening, to be honest.

No. why would we sell one of our best players and replace him with someone who hasn't played in the EPL? Thats typical spurs and the reason why we seem to struggle constantly.

Ronaldo used to have a terrible final ball but united stuck with him and now he is apparently the best player in the world.

could liverpool afford lennon? they have to pay 350m to rbs by july or they are f*cked if they do come in for him we should say no i would love a summer where our best players actually stayed and we could then build on it im sick of this polcy of selling our best players transition every summer is not good for a club just get rid of players we actually dont need rather than our key players and then the money raised from selling fringe players use that money to strenghten the side in positions we need
