When is the loan deadline?

I know that in the summer transfer window you can still secure loan signings for several weeks after the transfer deadline. Does anybody know if this is the same in the winter window?

Considering that 2 big dealings for us are Quaresma & Balotelli on loans till the end of the season, how much time do we have to complete these?

Also, we should have a little bit more time if we are going to bring in Appiah as he is a free agent, is that also correct?

im pretty sure loan dealine closes with the close of the transfer window for premier league clubs anway

players with no club can be signed outside of the window, i dont know when the deadline is for that, so we could still sign appiah after today

but in the summer the loan deadline is later isn't it? I'm pretty sure of that

i didnt think it was later for premiership clubs ? i know they sometimes allow a club special dispensation if they lose a goalkeeper or something. Loan deadline is later for all the other leagues in england except premier.

OK cool, that might be what I'm thinking of. Its just I have a vague memory of some loan deals going thru a bit later & I even have a vague recollection of us being connected with someone on loan after the deadline had closed but I'm really not sure if that is just something I've invented!!
