Well, perhaps not, & we wouldn't want him now anyway but the goings on in this transfer window have been bizarre to say the least. If you had told me at the beginning of November that Defoe, Chimbonda & Keane would all be back at Spurs before the end of the season I'd have probably laughed in your face! The likelihood of 3 players being allowed & wanting to return to the club they had just left is just so slim it is ridiculous & yet here we are, with almost 24hrs left of the window & already with both Defoe & Chim back at the Lane & Robbie looking ever more likely to join them.

I'm not sure but I don't think this has ever happened before. When Defoe came back the media took great joy in pointing out all the other cases of players returning to their clubs but 3 of them all in the same wndow? 2 of them having only just left the club barely 6 months previously? Who can we expect next?

We really are living in the land of make believe now, are we not?

OMG! This thread wasn't supposed to have ANYTHING to do with Berbatov himself ffs, it was sarcasm (which doesn't come across well online, I know)! Ideally you ought to read the actual post before responding.

I was talking about how bizarre it is to have so many ex-players rejoining us so quickly after leaving. I actually cannot think of any other time or place when this situation would be possible. Only at Tottenham.

Fairplay, it sickens me too a little but that's a little bit why I chose that title, I'm not quite sure how I feel about all these oldboys coming back. I see what Harry is doing. He knows if anyone is going to come here and fit straight in & not have to settle down, its those who only recently left. Add to that both Jermaine, Robbie & Pascal all still have their London homes & the logistics of the moves make sense.

Still, it does make me feel a little bit sick in my stomach all the same

Yeah this window has been very surreal. I wrote on another forum that it's like you've had a girlfriend cheat on you, leave you and then come back, but in the meantime you've become an alcoholic and lost your job, so now everything's a bit awkward and strange. I don't know if that makes any sense lol but that's what I feel like.

Oh and if Berba wanted to come back, I'd say feck off!
