Spurs look set to conclude the £8.2m signing of central defender Younes Kaboul today.
The French Under-21 international is understood to have undergone a medical at White Hart Lane since he played in Auxerre's final game of the season on Saturday
We're spending quite a bit on 2 young players if this is right (which I believe it is, we've been linked with him for long enough) I hope it pays off. I know a lot of young players have come good but not many of them were this expensive...
I reckon Bale is sound as long as he can make the step up to the premiership, Kaboul I know nothing about...

Think we are spending big now as we are signing players of champions league class. Inter were interested in Kaboul and united wanted Bale which is always a good sign. I always wonder about players when the only other clubs linked are not even in the uefa cup.
The sleeping giant has awoke
The Yids are rising from thje ashes, the Scum are burning in flames. 07/08. Henry palys for Barca, Wenger has nothing better to do than hang around back at the school gates and Cesc is in the white of Real. Bye bye A*****l, maybe you'll be back in a few years. hahahahahaha!
Spurs 3rd. Theres a nice site :1:
Yea, it's always when a concern when the headlines read "Spurs and Millwall after youngster" :5:
Bale seems good and Kaboul from what I read but it's just spending anything over 5mil would make me think more, under 5mil is ok to risk. :6:
Still everything I've read is positive so a good start to the transfer window!!

BMJ aint made too many many transfer mistakes so far. Kaboul today, the Nani tomorrow!!
Who has no faith? I questioned if they were worth that much as I didn't know much about them and everyone else told me yes they were.Originally Posted by spurs151276
Then someone posted about us finishing 3rd, we have faith in our manager!
Anyway, it's not like Jol is perfect, he has made mistakes but I in no way want rid of him, doing a great job, progressing every year, 3rd or 4th next year, a cup or 2 and champions league the following year, COYS!!!
