This one came out the blue!! The Daily Mail claim that Carlo Cudicini has moved to Spurs for just £1m!!! Considering we were aiming for Steve Harper for £2m, this is a serious coup!!

IMO Cudicini is one of the best keepers in the EPL & he would be most teams' no.1 for sure. I thought Man City wanted him at one point also, so I'm well chuffed with this if its true! We could have 3 new players unveiled by the weekend, Cudicini, Palacios & Burdisso. That's pretty sweet!
(I guess we'll have to scrap that song "One goal went past Carlo, Carlo Cudicini . . ."!! lol!)

Quality signing if this is true, he would fit into any teams starting line-up if it wasn't for the vastly overated Cech.
this has to be bull.. is carlo that bothered whether he plays or not, as to warrant a move from chelsea's bench to ours, accepting a pay-cut while he's at it? 8 years say NO
Maybe he thinks he can be No 1.
It might be more down to Chelsea tho Pit. He's an ageing keeper commanding fairly big wages & his contract was finishing in a few months. They may have decided against renewing his contract, choosing to get a nice £1m for him instead & Carlo can keep himself playing at a big club at the same time.

Nothing has been confirmed yet has it? I we get him for £1 million then it will be a good signing for back up to Gomes. I have always rated him as a good keeper.

I can see him ending up our number one, regardless of how well gomes has been playing lately, cudicini is a CLASS keeper! and his sitting on the bench at chelsea for the past however many years is a JOKE!
