Kaka today confirmed that he has rejected City's offer in order to stay with Milan . I could have probably predicted that outcome anyway but its easy to get caught up in things.
It would have possibly killed his career, the move was THAT dangerous for him. They were reporting that Kaka wanted £65m get out clauses for just next season, who knows how far he got with that but I'm guessing not very as once City would have caught him, they would not want to just let him go.
Kaka is the star he is at Milan because he is a big fish in a massive ocean. At City he would have become an even more massive fish but in a tiny little pond, & fish suffocate & die in those situations (a little harsh language, I know, but I think it would be true with his career).
City must learn that they just cannot disrupt the footballing world in this way as for 1) these great stars are already multi-millionaires & aren't likely to get attracted by your ridiculous money offers and 2) they are at the clubs they are at for a reason and it ain't money. They tried it in the summer with Ronaldinho, who turned his back on their bumper deal for the more modest one on offer by Milan & they have now failed with Kaka.

(watch out here they come!)
Will we stay or will we go now?
Will we stay or will we go now?
If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!
Rafael, Van Der Vaart
ƒuck Chelsea & Frank Lampard
with a nick-nack paddywhack he'll be getting goals
when Lampard's too fat & old

yeah i was very happy to hear this.
manchester city will probably end up as a club of mercenaries if they carry on like that.
if they truly want to progress they should look to the talents of the near future, like moutinho and diego and invest there. it reeks way too much of a hacked football manager game at the moment.
Oh MY GOD!!! Do I hate Garry Cook!
Anyone called Gary & has to spell it with 2 r's has got to be a c*ck!
He has just done an interview on Sky Sports & he is saying Milan are OUT OF ORDER for not selling Kaka, blaming THEM for 'bottling' it!!! What a d*ck!!! He is acting like such a spoilt child. He has a face you just want to punch.
I quote:
"We've chosen not to talk to the media", "We do our business internally", "We obviously do our business differently to other clubs" & "we've maintained our integrity throughout"!! OMG!! What a bare-faced lie!! They came out in f***ing october bragging about their transfer targets!!
If this guy was in charge of Spurs I'd hang myself!!

great news about Kaka, like you say good on him.
I hope this is a sign of things to come for man city. All this being aired publicly cant have done their reputations any good in players eyes. No self-respecting premiership star would go there anyway, italy have already had wind of their nonsence, roll on messi and spain!!
They will probably get Arshavin and the rest of the mercenaries who are only worried about their bank balance . By the way they are welcome to them .
beckham has said kaka likeily to go to real madrid in the summer so it looks like shiitty wont even get him then yippeee and ribinho looks like he has a pain in his ring with them too oh happy days who says money buys you happyiness
gotta hve respect for kaka,he could have moved for the money but has stayed loyal to the club
note to city fans: money doesn't always buy you what ya want. !!!!!
Nice work City, how not to run a football club and how not to spend your pots of money!!!
D*ck heads!!!
They should have boxed clever and paid grossly inflated prices to players that were attainable. That way they as a team would have improved and they would have started competing domestically.
When they started they may have won a sh*tty cup and progressed up the league slightly making them more desirable to players of world class pedigree.
Complete tw*ts.
He`s already playing for a Big team with a great coach & squad in a beautiful city so why trade that for a dump like manchester with a mediocre coach .. its a pity he will not be in the premiership, but hopefully one day he will & be playing for spurs .
Any chance of them turning their attention to Bent now Kaka ain't coming?![]()
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!
maybe if levy comes out and says we will not take less than 100 million for bent it will start them thinking wait a minute....... if we bid we might tempt them to throw in gilberto too bet you levy wouldnt bottle it mr cook
