are you crazy? I know Crespo is 33 but so what? Kanu was still knocking em in in the Prem not too long ago. Harry has a magic touch at reviving the careers of older players. Crespo is an absolute quality player & an a world class goalscorer. His worst form was when he was a 'flop' at Chelsea & he still pretty much managed 1 in 2! 10x the player Bent will ever be, even at 40! Also, at 33 he is the sort that won't mind being a 3rd striker whereas Bent's confidence will suffer. Crespo coming on in the 75th minute is far more dangerous than bl**dy Bent!

Who mentioned a swap 4 Bent anyway. We are likely to sell Bent to Aston Villa for about £14m. Crespo will be cheap cheap.

i just dont think crespo will work for us if we get anywhere near the offer we paid for bent he can go but id rather see someone else at the lane than crespo

Harry is a wizard with the elderly! He just has a knack of rejuvenating careers & if Teddy can play in the Prem into his 40s, 33 is not too old. He's got a season or 2 left in him for sure. This guy is class, & class is ageless.
