Goal.com - Transfer Zone - Olivier Dacourt Has Options To Leave Inter - Agent
"Tottenham Hotspur? We've contacted them and they would be a good option. We've also been in contact with Newcastle," he responded when asked about possible destinations for his client.
I would love to use him, he could be useful, although 34 years old, he is very experienced, knows all about the prem (Leeds United) and could do a good job for us.
Out of favour at Inter behind Vieira and Cambiasso.
Way too old and not good enough, in my opinion.
Dacourt was quality at Leeds. I remember. Had to endure watching game after game after game of their European campaigns at a time I lived in a shared house with a Leeds fan.
He offers experience in the same way that, for example, Edgar Davids did. Whether he could cut it for a full season like Davids did is another matter entirely. On a short term, get it fixed, help keep Spurs up by strengthening the midfield type of contract, I'd have no qualms about this.

Can't lose anything if you do pay as you play deals, same as was mentioned with Davids.
