'Arry will never get rid of him if he continues like he has. When his decision making is ok (which it has been recently) is he one of the best keepers around.

Many were sceptical when he arrived, including me. Knowing a little about him it looked as though he was just another Robbo, excellent shot stopper (though I beleive Gomes is better) but poor decision making. However, it appears that Gomes is better mentally than Robbo. It's taken Robbo a move to another club to resurrect his career, and I always have and always will love him and hope for the best. Gomes on the other hand has managed to resurrect his form with us, allbeit with the help of Tony Parks.

If he continues this form, he'll be winning us atleast 10-15 points a season.

I think gomes injury synopsis today says it all . " He wants to go but to be remembered as a hero . I dont buy it., He is not stupid , he can see whats in front of him more than anyone , He's a world class keeper , but somethings not right , or he would want all the cups , and premiership football

I cant see us getting rid of gomes, i think he has done brilliantly to come through his bad patch, is he out injured after the game with wigan ? who will we have after that ? sanchez and alnwick, will harry give alnwick a go? I hear we got a good young keeper in oscar jansson
