Aruna Dindane is thought to be interesting Spurs as is Sunderland's striker Kenwyne Jones, who is also being looked at by Villa.

Lens admitted that they will be seliing their striker Dindane permanently & a loan deal is not an option. Not sure about him really, he's hardly the most prolific:

Considering we've just sealed the deal for Defoe, we must be after 2 strikers

I'd love to see Jones at the lane. Probably wouldnt cost an arm and a leg either.

Would rather have Podolski still, but I can still see Podolski on this list of Harry's.

I am starting to really like the idea of Dindane. He is a very underestimated player and has been made available by his club Lens. Podolski is set to rejoin Cologne & Fred is staying in Lyon but Aruna is on the market for sure.

A few Prem clubs are interested in him, Stoke, WBA & Pompey but Harry is also said to be thinking about him &, if you ask me, he's better than those other 3. He'd also link up well with Didi, both being Ivorian & of similar age. Here are a couple of great youtubes that show what this guy can do:
      YouTube - Aruna Dindane
      YouTube - Aruna Dindane Compilation

He has been out for 8 months after a knee operation which is the only worry. He has just returned & played for Lens but what with Ledders & now Appiah already here with knee history, do we need a 3rd?

Liking the look of this Dindane, whether he'll be able to adapt to the prem or not we shall have to see, but buying anyone playing in a foreign league is a risky move. Given 'Arrys track record with transfers though, I wouldn't have that many concerns!

He's certainly experienced & been around a while, If you are gonna buy from abroad (which is beginning to look like the only real option left if we still want another striker) mid-season, I guess its better to get someone who's been about for a bit.

^^^ lol. I think he would be great so long as his knee is OK. It could be a little bit of a risk but for £4m? I think its worth a flutter.

Spurs are apparently preparing a £14m bid for Kenwyne Jones.

I doubt we can afford Jones now that Harry has wasted 16 million on Defoe. its a shame because we could use a player thats good in the air.

Exept that in all Defoe cost us 1-2mill, maybe a little more. What with the money pompey still owe us from previous signings and the signing on fee.

As for Jones, no thank you, especially not for 14m!

14mil for Jones is an absolute joke. Podolski would be cheaper than that.
