I don't think this is a particularly strong link as there are no actual articles on the subject, just a few odd sentences buried in a whole bunch of transfer news. However, it is being suggested that we are having a look at Celtic's midfielder Scott Brown. I really like Brown, he is definitely one of Celtic's better players & could be what we need. He is a battler, prepared to get stuck in & do the dirty work whilst also having a bit of skill about him. He's a decent passer of the ball too.

However, he was linked with a move to Portsmouth recently, news which Strachan scoffed at, so he is unlikely to greet this any differently.

If we go there will be trouble
and if we stay we'll do the double
So Levy has got let us know
Will we stay or will we go!

SPL player are generally not up to the standard and that is why they play there, if they were good enough they would be here. Ya get me?

Dont know ehough about the lad to comment on him to be honest.

There are plenty of SPL players that have been good in the Prem. I thought McFadden was good for both Everton & Brum, Hutton was good for us last season and who can forget Richard Gough?

Scott Brown is a quality player who would definitely do well in the Prem. I know you can pick players out like Maloney but it doesn't really prove anything. Brown is a strong, physical player who plays with a determination & grit not unlike Roy Keane used to. He has the opportunity to be a very good player but he won't do it if he remains in Scotland for too long.

Anyway, he won't leave Celtic at the mo so this is all a bit trivial.
