I really think Downing and Bentley would play well together on the wings. They've both got the ability to put it pin-point crosses so we would be deadly with a target man.

Because one man up front usually gets marked by 2 men, but you seen him getting more balls to the heads of Campbell and Pavlyuchenko with the 4-4-2 the other night.

Depends on the game, the formation & the opposition, as well as home or away. It is not as simple as the best starting XI these days.
That is why we need more options. Certain positions would be subject to flexibility, with the strikers, Modric, & the CD being the most important to keep regular.

1 man up front being marked by two CB's it would be hard for the striker to win the header. Thats why playing Lennon on the right is better with 4-5-1. He can use his pace to beat the LB and make a run into the box pass across goal to striker, 1-0. Showed it against Blackburn. Well thats my opinion anyway, but hey what do I know? Im just a teenager .
