So now we are in the mist of the January transfer window and we see how well Pavlyuchenko can play in 4-4-2 but we need to find a good partner in crime up front with him though.
I have picked Podolski because I have always wanted him to come to the club and its music to my ears we are even being linked to him!
I do not want Bellamy because well he can't even stay at a club for longer than a season, he starts up trouble and we certainly don't need that at Spurs.
If we buy Defoe, it will be a couple steps back, but if Harry wants him and thinks he could play well along side Pavlyuchenko then there it be.
Cavenaghi will come in the summer because Boardeux will hardly let him go during the January window, but you never know. I reckon we will get him in the Summer window though.
ive gone fopr arshavin, only because i think he will bring something different to the team.....he reminds me of keane, direct and skillful.....but podolski world be a quality signing also.
Podolski and Arshavin is what we need. Remember we only have one striker at our football club and he isnt the Don el Pepe at the minute.
Barren Dent is injured and cant be considerer a long term option.
i also think we need 2 strikers with all the games coming up espially with alot of them cup tied in differant comps
Out of all of them it has to be Podolski for me. He has a great scoring record in international football. He is clearly hungry to prove himself and play regular football again. After his recent comments it appears he is done with German league football and wants to play in a strong league in Europe. England is clearly the strongest in Europe and every player knows that.
He has also said that it is not about money (I know how many times have we all heard this before) but hopefully this means money bags man city wont have it all their way.
i picked podolski. however i believe we need two more strickers at the moment.
we should be looking to buy both podolski and cavenaghi.
Podolski has turned down alot of big offers as he previously wanted to return to his boyhood club Cologne.
I dunno how he would fair as somone previously said being this far from his home.
I agree Arshavin and Podolski.
Also podolski has openly said he would love to play in the EPL, i don't think its so much homesick at bayern rather then he just doesn't like it.
If you moved outta your home to a place you hated you are likely to want to return to your 'comfort' zone.
Tottenham Hotspur - A Life Long Labour of Love.
I would buy podoski as he can also play left side as well
I would also like to but another name forward in Readings Kevin Doyle he has a fantastic work rate and scores goals what does everone else think.
The price for Podolski is suspicious low. I would buy him certainly if mancity doesn't reach out their dirty hands for him
Defoe would like to return and to continue the work with Harry. It is the best signing. Unfortunately, pompeys prevent him from coming
And don't forget Arshavin of course)
it would be nice to have defoe as hes stuck his neck out and said publicly he wants to join spurs. you know he'd give it 100 % and he really would want to impress, but please harry dont pay 20 million.
I went for Podolski but would be delighted with Arshavin. I also think we need more than one but would actually go for 3 shipping Bent and the Manc out. Third choice would be Cavenaghi or Defoe.
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!
Defoe is the one for me
Defoe has got to be a last ditch to buy if Podolski, Cavenaghi and Arshavin won't come simply because 20 million for a player that used to play at Spurs is ridiculous and ludicrous
It won't be £20m.
