Source www.dailymail.comHatem Trabelsi's stint at Manchester City is over after just 12 months as Stuart Pearce joins Spurs in the chase for striker Nikola Zigic.
The Tunisian international, once courted by Manchester United and Arsenal, was handed a one-year deal with the option of an extension when he signed from Ajax Amsterdam last season.
But his injuries and a lack of form has held him back this term. City have also released winger Trevor Sinclair after failing to agree terms on a new deal.
Stuart Pearce wants to use their wages on new signings as he attempts to rebuild the club in the summer.
He is keen on 6ft 8ins Serbian striker Zigic of Racing Santander but faces competition from sveral Premiership clubs including Spurs.
This would be a great acquisition. Big strong, good in the air and on the floor. 10 times the player Mido is. and still only 23ish.
